The villa was A* Charlie & his team looked after us every step of the way. Short walk from the main town. Charlie had someone pick us up from the airport and book us boat trips and make sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend booking with Dalyan Villas.
The Villa Jewell is a lovely, huge villa set in a large landscaped garden, one of the biggest and best gardens you will see in the area which makes it a very private, quiet and peaceful stay. The Villa is huge, every bedroom is large with en-suite facilities. Plenty of sun loungers and beach towels on site, so you don’t have to take your own which saves a bit of space in the suite case. The villa is fully kitted out with everything you need for your stay. The villa, gardens and pool are well maintained. Pool chap comes each day to see to the pool. The location is good, its a 10 to 15 minute walk/stroll depending on your speed into the centre of Dalyan. It only costs £2.50 from the centre back to the Villa if you don’t want to walk back. We use the rank next to Migros – very good English speaking drivers. Dalyan is a great place for a relaxing holiday, lots of good restaurants and a few nice bars to choose from. Its also very safe and we always feel comfortable walking in the area at night. We have been to Dalyan for 14 years and always use Dalyan Villas. The service and response from Charles is excellent. Any queries are responded to quickly. They organise pick up from the airport and if there is anything you are unsure about during your stay there is a local english speaking Service Manager, Mehmet who will come and promptly sort it for you. Perfect stay, perfect location and villa and excellent service all round! Thanks Dalyan Villas, we will see you next year!
Great time in the villa. Large grand entrance through the garden opening up to a dream like picturesque sunny yellow Jewel of a Villa. The rooms are cosy and very homely, unlike most villas that are plain white and without character. The pictures dont do the place justice. We set up a nice dinner table and had a family dinner in the garden. A party I can’t forget. I hope to stay again. Dalyan was amazing, I feel jealous of anyone who has the luxury of living in Dalyan!
The villa has very good facilities throughout. Good workable kitchen. Situated in the basement is a second, large lounge with big tv screen with sat. stations and lots of soft seating for everyone. Garden and pool area have comfortable lounges and we love the outdoor eating area which is big enough for all to enjoy. As you can see, the overall listing description was spot on. The property was clean with good customer service. Well situated for the very good selection of restaurants and bars with friendly and attentive staff who help to make it a good night out. Some restaurants, such as Sahil’s, situated on the riverside with lovely views, will pick you up and take you back to the villa free of charge. Plenty of activities and visits if you want if want a more active holiday. We have already recommended this villa to our friends and family.

We stayed for a week at Dalyan Jewel for a week in early May. The house and gardens are beautiful and the villa has everything you’ll need. Really peaceful place to stay and just a short, less than 10 mins, bike ride in to the town. The weather was wonderful too and so lovely to chill out by the pool in the Spring sunshine. Dalyan is a fantastic place to visit, lots to do and well catered for eating out, shopping and a local market. I’d love to return, thanks for having us.
We stayed at the Dalyan Jewel for a week. It’s a beautiful place, peaceful, each room has its own bathroom and the place is big enough to be together as well as have private space. The outside eating area is just a gorgeous place to have breakfast and lounge around the pool. It’s close to the town, shops and local bakery and there are bikes provided which is really handy. Charles was a great host, checking we had everything and giving us suggestions on great places, thanks for having us. We had a lovely time and would definitely return!
We had a wonderful time in this gorgeous and super comfy villa (uniquely designed by the owner himself). “Dalyan Jewel” truly deserves its name. It’s tastefully decorated, very spacious and very clean. Private balconies can be found outside the large and comfortable (all, en-suite) bedrooms. The villa is very well located; only a walking distance from the town centre. We loved spending time around the pool and enjoyed the garden where we had breakfast every morning. Fully equipped kitchen and all the facilities you may be looking for, including: Jacuzzi, 3 washing-machines, air con, large screen TV, dish-washer and (much enjoyed) bicycles. Charles was a warm, helpful and considerate host. He booked our (late) airport transfers and popped by the day after our arrival, to see if we needed anything. He immediately made us feel welcome. He also gave us some useful tips to enjoy the local and breathtaking landscapes. Sightseeing opportunities literally abound in this beautiful region: Dalyan River and its Channel, the nearby lake, beach, mountains, historical sites…. They’re all accessible by affordable boats and/or taxis, and a few buses. Being able to use the bikes to get around was handy and a lot of fun. We’ve enjoyed discovering that stunning part of Turkey, with its delicious food and friendly, welcoming locals. Charles’ villa is a real treat and he’s a fabulous host. Strongly recommend…
I can highly recommend this Villa to anyone from couples to multi-family. The layout is perfect inside with 2 bedrooms “1 Double and 1 Twin” on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms “2 Double and 1 Twin” on the first floor and what can only be described as a mini apartment on the second floor. All the beds are comfortable which was a major plus for both me with knee problems and my elderly Mum who suffer with bad back and other ailments. There is also plenty of storage space in all bedrooms so any longer term renters should fear not. Everything you could want in a home is here including 3 washing machines, Large fridge freezer and cooking facilities. There is plenty of seating in the lounge and a large screen TV. The pool is excellent and its shape allows a shallow end for kids as well as a deeper end for better swimmers and adults. There are plenty of Lilo around the pool for sunning yourself and a huge bar area outside is great for get together too and has it own fridge to keep the beers cool. Positioned at the top end of town is not a problem as the walk is nice or you can do as we did and get one of the 2 or 3 seat scooters that are rentable in town. I do not usually like giving 5 stars to anything but with Dalyan Jewel i have no problems at all. Special mention for Charlie Bentley, “My family will never forget how amazing you have been and all the help you gave for our stay” and Thank You to Mehmet, i know i was a pain with the internet but you came through and fast. If you have a chance to stay here DO IT, you will not regret it.
I visited Turkey in August 2017. It seems like forever since I was there but the allure of all that is Turkish is with me every day and I long to return. When I was planning my trip to Turkey both friends and family were regularly warning me about the dangers of travelling to a predominantly Muslim country. Their concerns were in direct alignment with some of the verbiage I found on the US State Departments web site warning of possible terror attacks and other risks they believed to be part of travelling in Turkey. Having some native Turks as friends and acquaintances both here in the US and in Turkey I was not concerned. They had already warned me about crooked taxi drivers and night life risks and all the usual warnings applied. I ignored all that I had read online and I ignored the pleas from relatives and friends to reconsider and I had nothing short of an epic visit. In fact, I felt much more at ease and safe than I do in most US cities. I wandered around on dark streets in Istanbul, I took long walks by the water and along the many little hotels in Dalyan.
